Robin Thompson, also known as carpedog, is an award-winning writer, editor and graphic designer. She has received a number of awards for her ground-breaking work in early internet journalism, including an installation at the New Museum of Art in New York (Spank! magazine with Stephen Cassady).

 

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Robin grew up in Calgary, Alberta and votes in both countries. She is a card-carrying Democrat and voted for Barack Obama five times. Needless to say, Robin likes Justin Trudeau very much. She considers herself neither Canadian or American, but North American.

 

Passionate about the English language, Robin reads 200 to 300 books each year.
